Parallax Art Fair 2012

I will be exhibiting some new and some older photographs here at the fifth edition of the Parallax Art Fair at the magnificent Chelsea Old Town Hall, Kings Road, London, 13-14 October 2012.

Private view is Friday 12^th October, 7:30pm. The dress code is evening dress (black tie) and carriages will be at 9pm. If you wish to attend the private view please RSVP to privateviews@barlowfinedrawings.com by 10th October.

The international art fair features works by contemporary artists from the UK, Europe, USA, Chile, Russia, Puerto Rico, India, Ukraine, Mexico, Morocco, Canada, Australia and Peru.

Public opening times are:

Saturday 13th October: 11-5

Sunday 14th October: 11-5

So I'm at the start of writing a major essay (8000 words) for university. My title is 'Self and Gender: Feminism, the Self-Portrait and its Importance within Contemporary Art and Photography'.

I got many books from the library all full of wonderful female photographers.

I wanted to post what I think are some of the most interesting women photographers, for you to see and hopefully be inspired by!
