brbchasinglight

For the past few mornings I have been noticing the light in my kitchen. The sun only shines through my kitchen window until about 10/11am and it's the prettiest light.

I have been documenting said light on instagram @ leannesurfleet

lily

I've never really took photos like this before, I find taking photos of flowers lame and amatuer-ish, but for a project for uni I need to photograph 'fascinating objects' and so I photographed a lot of random things. These were taken on my Zenit E with a 29mm lens, on Ilford b&w film. The 2nd one is of the middle of the lily, using a macro attachment thingy. I do actually like the outcome of the 1st photo, it couldnt have looked any better if it wasnt shot on film.

distorted tazzy

My attempt at taking a self portrait with my cat. There was no chance this was gonna happen, but to be honest I like the outcome anyway. Dreamy.

sisters house

This past week I've been house and cat-sitting for my sister while she was in Egypt. It's been fun, I love having a house to myself, even though I dont act much differently, its nice.
Plus her house is kind of like a hotel, clean, crisp and glossy.

I finally got hold of some more Spectra, its seriously been too long.
Hopefully this weekend I will be taking lots of photo's and will be on here more often,
I promise.

...........

I recently got some more Fuji colour film but realised I had 2 shots of black and white Polaroid left in my 450 land camera so I used them up.

I've really been slacking lately and I hate myself for it, I've let other things get in the way that just really arent inportant to me at all.

I'm going to sort myself out as I start uni in just over a months time, I really cant wait!

This is my new favourite corner, it has most things I need (minus all my cameras).
Scanner, sewing machine, polaroids, Francesca Woodman & Nan Goldin books :)

bloody px

I've been having a bit of a hard time with the First Flush PX 600, my first batch was spot on, almost perfect. But my next pack just isnt working as well, I think it has a lot to do with the heat, the weather recently has been a bit warm and mental and it looks as though its had a bit of an effect on my bloody px film!
Hopefully I'll have better look with my next pack.
These are the few I really salvaged from the pack!

stand alone

I very rarely take those one of a kind photographs where it actually takes my own breath away, but I have to say, this is one of them.

Experimenting with the new PX 600 Film, I love this image.
You need to see the real thing to enjoy all its beauty.

atz edge cut

Last week The Impossible Project put up for sale some mega cheap SX-70 Artistic TZ Film, £8 per pack. Because it was edge cut film, and had a big chance of being slightly ruined. I took my chances seeing as though they only had about 500 for sale and were counting down untill they went on sale. It was a limit of 5 packs per customer. I went on their shop website just before they went on sale, and of course the website crashed as soon as they were up for grabs! I luckily grabbed 5 packs of the stuff, and in 10 minutes they were sold out. Now I've had a play with ATZ film, I love it. And am not looking forward to having to pay full price for it after I run out. Heres what I've taken so far...
